Driver & setup guide
HP LaserJet Pro P1102
The USB-only P1102 needs a model-specific host-based driver. Check Windows or Mac support before downloading, and avoid wireless P1102w setup and button shortcuts.

Installation steps
P1102 is the USB model, not P1102w
Read the full model on the printer label. HP distinguishes the non-wireless P1100 models from the wireless variants: a plain P1102 uses USB. Router, WPS and wireless-button instructions for P1102w are not a setup path for this model. It has no scanner to enable with extra software.
Manufacturer’s instructions for this stepWindows: check support before connecting USB
Choose the exact Windows version and architecture on HP’s current support page before using a P1100-family installer. The historical manual does not establish Windows 11 or ARM support. For the documented USB installation, start the installer first and connect the A-to-B USB cable when prompted; HP specifies a cable no longer than 2 m (6.56 ft).
Manufacturer’s instructions for this stepMac: do not substitute a wireless AirPrint guide
Check P1102 and your exact macOS version in HP’s selector. The manual’s old Mac instructions do not prove support on a present-day Mac. Do not download a Windows EXE or assume that adding an AirPrint queue for another HP model supplies this USB printer’s host-based driver. If HP offers no matching software, leave compatibility unresolved rather than installing a nearby model’s package.
Manufacturer’s instructions for this stepStill having trouble after setup?
USB is connected but the job does not print
Check that the selected queue uses the P1102 driver and correct USB connection. Connect directly to the computer rather than through a hub, then try another USB port or known-good cable. HP’s troubleshooting sequence also tests a small document from another application, separating an application problem from the connection or driver before reinstalling.
Manufacturer’s instructions for this stepThe configuration-page button shortcut is missing
The manual’s hold-Cancel shortcut belongs to wireless models, not the base P1102. Where the installed HP driver provides it, open printer Properties or Preferences → Services → Print Information Pages → Config Page. A configuration page checks that path; still send a new document from the application you intend to use.
Manufacturer’s instructions for this stepAfter installation
Print a test page
Send a fresh one-page document from the intended computer to the P1102 queue and inspect the paper output. If it fails, try a small document from another application before changing drivers. Do not use P1102w wireless-button instructions as a test for this USB model.

Where do the downloads come from?
Download buttons open the manufacturer file address shown beside them. PDrivers does not store, relay or modify driver installers. Check license terms and installation requirements on the official instructions page.
My OS is missing. Is it unsupported?
Not necessarily. This list contains the exact OS/file records we have collected. Use the manufacturer’s OS selector to check. A nearby version number is not enough to establish compatibility.
Do I need the full software package?
This is a print-only model. A full package may provide connection and setup utilities, but it does not add scanning hardware. Choose by the functions the manufacturer lists.
What if the official file link stops working?
Open the manufacturer’s support page and look for a replacement release. If the link still appears wrong, report it using the correction link below. Avoid unofficial mirrors with similar-looking names.
