On the US ET-2800 page, choose the exact Windows version. For printing only, inspect Printer Driver. For scanning, inspect Scanner Driver and Epson Scan 2 Utility. The Drivers and Utilities Combo Package obtains both plus additional applications; it is a setup downloader, not a printer-driver-only file. Check architecture and current release notes before downloading; no ARM support is inferred here.

Start software installation with USB disconnected. If Windows opens Found New Hardware, cancel it and disconnect the cable. Choose Wireless connection or Direct USB connection when Epson setup asks, then follow that path’s prompts. Use ET-2800 software rather than substituting an L-series model on appearance alone.

Epson documents wireless AirPrint for this model without installing printer drivers. Put the Mac and printer on the same Wi-Fi network. Keep the printer’s paper-configuration messages enabled: Epson says disabling them prevents AirPrint. Add the intended printer on the Mac and check paper size. Scanning is a separate task, so verify it independently.

Compare the computer’s and printer’s wireless network, then print the network status sheet and connection report. Follow the report’s connection code before reinstalling software. This separates a network problem from a saved queue or application problem; reconnecting to Wi-Fi alone is not a completed print test.

Confirm the selected product in Epson Scan 2 Utility. When its connection settings need resetting, Epson documents Other → Reset; this is a software setting reset, not a printer factory reset. Scanning started from the printer also needs the documented Event Manager setup and firewall permissions. Check those components before replacing a working print driver.
